Midnight Capital was formed in the summer of 2016 by Elie Schwartz and Simon Singer, who as the principals of Nightingale Properties, experienced a dislocation in the debt markets and saw an opportunity to provide a loan product designed by Borrowers.
To launch Midnight Capital, Elie and Simon hired Harris Lukashok, a lender with years of experience, to head originations. Harris leads an experienced team of professionals at Midnight, which is on track to close $100 million in its first year in business.
Midnight Capital is a private bridge lender that provides short term bridge loans sized from $2 million to $50 million on transitional real estate opportunities for terms of 6 to 18 months. We consider all traditional asset classes including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, student housing, and medical office properties and will consider fractured condos, hotels and land on a case by case basis.
